Saints' Support: Elders
Elders
have special places in the life of All Saints', where
we try to support them with our respect and love. Their contributions
are welcomed in joy, and frailties are supported in a variety of ways.
Large-print
Order of Service
Complete
and self-contained orders-of-service,
having larger-print and a clearer font, are usually available at the
weekly service. They
are also lighter and easier to use than the usual books. They are
copied electronically from the Anglican liturgical library and used
under its licence.
CD
of the weekly service
The audio of
the weekly sung eucharist is recorded, and transferred to standard
audio CDs, which are delivered that week to shut-ins and others who
were unable to attend.
Participation
Elders' presence, experience and talents find joyous expression at All Saints'.
Prayers
Elders for
whom prayers are requested are included in the weekly prayers of the
people.
Visiting
Shut-ins are
visitied and brought holy communion by the All Saints' pastoral care
team.
