all... At All Saints' we study ... the big questions of life. As Anglicans, we try to balance three resources: scripture, tradition and new knowledge. Big questions find answers that are both comforting and challenging, in directions often neglected by secular society. Everyone is welcomed into our fellowship to worship and to study with us—at any level— as we explore scripture, tradition and new knowledge. Music: Our
music director, Sara Brooks, and the All Saints' choirs will warmly
welcome you as a student of music at any level, should you wish to join
the music program. They practice weekly and lead the congregation at
Sunday services from September through June, with music to the glory of
God.On Thursday, September 9, 2010, the choirs of All Saints' Sandy Hill will begin another exciting season of choral music. This year, two ensembles will rehearse each Thursday evening in the Main Church. From 7:00-8:00 p.m., the ASSH Vocal Ensemble will prepare for musical events, such as our annual Advent service of Lessons and Carols, Lent and Easter services, as well as a Spring concert to be held in May 2011. This group is open to any and all choristers, regardless of past experience! From 8:10-9:00 p.m., the ASSH Senior Choir will prepare service music for the following Sunday morning. Once again, this ensemble is open to all. We ask you to pass this information to friends, family, etc. who might be interested in joining our choral community! We experience a wide variety of musical genres, and prepare works from the Renaissance to contemporary periods.
